Motorola has introduced the Moto G Max in India, expanding its smartphone portfolio with a focus on display quality and battery endurance.
The device sports a 6.72-inch FHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,050 nits of peak brightness.

It also features Water Touch 2.0 for better touch response when wet, and Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic protection.
Performance and software
Under the hood, the Moto G Max is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
It runs on Hello UX-based Android 16, with two OS upgrades and three years of security updates promised.
The phone also supports up to 24GB of virtual RAM expansion.

Camera and battery
In the camera department, the Moto G Max features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide shooter.
A 32MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
The device is equipped with a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 30W charging.

It also includes stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and retains a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Durability and pricing
The Moto G Max carries an IP64 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification for added durability.
It comes in two configurations: 6GB+128GB at Rs 27,999 and 8GB+128GB at Rs 29,999.
Sales begin on August 20 via Flipkart, with a Rs 1,000 discount available through bank offers.
