Xiaomi has introduced the Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 5 Pro Foam Edition in China.
This new wet/dry vacuum joins the company's household hardware lineup at a price of 2,199 yuan (around $326).
The device follows the recent release of the Mijia Wireless Floor Washer 5 Pro, expanding Xiaomi's cleaning product range.
Key features and specifications
The scrubber combines high-temperature steam with targeted cleaning agents to tackle various floor messes.
A 300W boiler generates 160°C steam, which is sprayed at a 45-degree angle to loosen dried dirt before the roller passes over.
An active foam system is included, activated by holding a button on the handle. It dispenses dense cleaning foam designed to break down heavy grease and stubborn stains.
For standard vacuuming, the device delivers 26,000Pa of suction and applies about 60.3N of downward pressure.
The roller brush spins at 400rpm and features a blue-light LED on the cleaning head to illuminate dust in darker areas.
To prevent hair tangling, Xiaomi incorporated a fine-tooth comb system and a constant-pressure metal scraper that continuously pulls hair off the roller brush as it spins.
The vacuum also has a water-and-air separation system, allowing the unit to lie completely flat to reach under furniture without losing suction.
A motorized central wheel assists with pushing, pulling, and turning to manage the weight of the water tanks.
The base station handles post-cleaning maintenance. When docked, it runs a self-cleaning cycle using 100°C boiling water to wash the roller brush.
A built-in PTC heater then dries the brush, base, and internal pathways in about five minutes to prevent odors.
Battery life is rated at up to 40 minutes.
The vacuum carries a 1,000ml clean-water tank and a 700ml dirty-water tank, which uses a solid-liquid separator for easier emptying.
Users can switch between four cleaning modes via the built-in LED display.
