The global variant of the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max has been spotted on Geekbench, hinting at its imminent launch.

The device, carrying model number 2609FRA74G, recently received certification from Thailand's NBTC authority, confirming its branding.

According to the benchmark listing, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset (SM6850).

The CPU configuration includes four performance cores clocked at 2.61GHz and four efficiency cores at 2.02GHz.

The listing also reveals an Adreno 812 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and Android 16 out of the box.

In Geekbench 7, the device scored 924 points in single-core and 2,923 points in multi-core tests.

Expected specifications (rumored)

Recent leaks suggest the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max could feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED 1.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3,500 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

It is expected to come with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and storage options of 128GB (UFS 2.1) or 256GB (UFS 4.0).

A 9,200mAh battery with 100W fast charging is also anticipated.

On the camera front, the phone may include a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel front camera.

Other rumored features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, IP68/69K dust and water resistance, eSIM support, and Xiaomi HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.

The Chinese edition might differ, possibly featuring a Dimensity 7500 chip, a 200-megapixel main camera, and a larger 10,000mAh battery.

While Redmi has not officially confirmed the Note 17 Pro Max, its recent certifications and Geekbench appearance suggest an official announcement could be near.
