Huawei has started taking pre-orders for the Nova 16 SE in China.

Orders opened at 12:08 China Time on July 30, with the official sale scheduled for August 5.

A promotional poster reveals the phone's design. The rear camera island resembles the iPhone 17 Pro, housing three lenses.

The front features a centered hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera, and the edges are rounded.

Rumored Specifications

Tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo shared key specs.

The Nova 16 SE is expected to sport a 6.84-inch flat LTPS OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and a peak brightness of 8000 nits.

It is said to be powered by Huawei's Kirin 8020 chipset, paired with an 8500mAh battery supporting 66W wired charging.

The main camera is a 50MP sensor with Huawei's RYYB setup and Red Maple color processing.

Additional features include BeiDou satellite messaging, a plastic frame, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

The phone is believed to be a rebadged Enjoy 90 X Premium Edition, repositioned under the Nova name to justify a price near 2000 yuan.

The Nova 16 SE will launch alongside the Enjoy G9, Supreme V800 and V680, MateBook Fold Master, MateBook Pro S, and MatePad Pro.
