The murder of Karon "Ronny Doe" Cann, ex-boyfriend of Chrisean Rock, remains unsolved more than a year after his death.
Police say the case is still under active investigation.
Justin Mulcahy, a spokesperson for the Anne Arundel County Police Department in Maryland, confirmed to TMZ on Monday night that the investigation is open and active.
He declined to provide additional details.
Before his death, Karon publicly claimed he was the father of Chrisean's son, Chrisean Jr. Chrisean has consistently stated that Blueface is the father, though Blueface has denied the allegations.
About a month before the murder, Karon reportedly confronted Chrisean at a mall while she was with her infant son, leading to police involvement.
In February 2025, Karon was shot and killed in Severn, Maryland. Investigators believe it was a targeted attack.
Officers responded to a home in the Baltimore suburb after a shooting report and found Karon outside with multiple gunshot wounds.
Paramedics treated him at the scene and transported him to a hospital, where he later died.
More than a year later, police have not publicly identified a suspect or person of interest. The case remains unsolved.
