XPENG has launched the MONA L03 coupe SUV globally in 64 countries.

Priced between $21,000 and $24,000 in China, it aims to bring premium design, space, and performance from higher-priced vehicles to a more accessible segment.

The MONA L03 is available in pure electric and range extender (EREV) versions.

It features XPENG's VLA 2.0 self-driving system, widely regarded as one of the best among Chinese EVs.

Design and Exterior

The MONA L03 boasts smooth, sporty lines with an aerodynamic coefficient of 0.228 Cd.

Its sharp headlights and full-length LED rear light bar give it a distinctive look.

Available in multiple colors, including a pink option, the SUV measures 4.65 meters in length with a 2.85-meter wheelbase.

It rides on 20-inch wheels, with 18-inch options for better efficiency.

Mechanical door handles replace pop-up ones, complying with new Chinese regulations. Frameless, thick tinted glass enhances soundproofing.

Interior and Space

The cabin features a yoke-style steering wheel, a bright HUD, and a 15.6-inch 2.5K central display with 600 nits brightness.

Ambient lighting, a 50W wireless charging pad, and USB ports are included.

Seats are heated, ventilated, and massaged, with premium materials covering 72% of the cabin. The rear seats offer ample legroom and headroom for a 175 cm passenger.

The double-glazed roof is UV-treated.

The trunk provides generous space, with foldable rear seats to accommodate a bed or surfboard. Hidden compartments and side pegboards add storage.

A 102-liter frunk is available in the EV version, replaced by an engine in the EREV variant.

Twenty speakers deliver a high-quality audio system. Multiple cameras support driving, parking, and the VLA 2.0 system.

Hardware and Software

Up to three Turing chips provide 2,250 TOPS of computing power. The Tianji AIOS 6.0 software includes Google Assistant, AI AC, and AI noise reduction.

Battery and Charging

The pure electric version offers a WLTP range of 440 km, while the EREV version reaches up to 1,000 km.

Efficiency is rated at 11.5 kWh/100 km. The 3C charger supports up to 220 kW.
