MediaTek's upcoming Dimensity 9600 series is expected to include three chipsets: the Dimensity 9600s, Dimensity 9600 Pro, and Dimensity 9600 Pro Max, according to tipster Smart Chip Insider.

The Dimensity 9600s is said to be a rebranded version of the Dimensity 9500, built on TSMC's N3P process.

The Pro and Pro Max variants are expected to use the same chip based on the more advanced N2P process, with differences likely coming from clock speeds or configurations.

The tipster also claims that the Dimensity 9600s will trail Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 standard version, which is also rumored to be manufactured on the N2P node.
