Xiaomi has introduced the Mijia Wireless Floor Cleaner 5C, an upgrade to its budget-friendly vacuum lineup.
The device is priced at 999 yuan, roughly $150, and can drop to 899 yuan with subsidies.
Sales begin on August 3 in China. The 5C follows last year's 4C model with several improvements.

Suction power increases from 15,000Pa to 18,000Pa, enhancing dirt, dust, and pet hair removal on various floors.
Triple anti-tangle technology, certified by TÜV, reduces hair wrap issues—a benefit for pet owners.
The cleaner features a lighter design for easier maneuverability.
It uses 60°C hot airflow for better drying and odor elimination, helping prevent mold and bad smells.
Battery life reaches up to 45 minutes, with quiet operation at around 50dB. Xiaomi claims it can clean a 341m² apartment on a single charge.

Global availability has not been announced. However, since the 4C model appears on Xiaomi's global website, the 5C may eventually reach international markets.
