A Google Play Console listing has provided the first concrete details about the Pixel Watch 5's hardware.

The device, codenamed "godric," will retain the Qualcomm SW5100 platform used in the Pixel Watch 2, 3, and 4.

This chipset features four ARM Cortex-A53 cores clocked up to 1.7 GHz and an Adreno 702 GPU at 1 GHz.

While not the fastest option, it has proven reliable for Wear OS.

The key upgrade is the RAM, which jumps from 2GB in previous models to 3GB.

This additional memory should enable smoother multitasking and faster performance, making the watch feel more future-proof.

Details on a coprocessor are not yet available. The Pixel Watch 4 introduced an upgraded coprocessor for features like satellite SOS.

Leaked renders suggest the Pixel Watch 5 will maintain a design similar to its predecessor. Four color options are expected: Dark Anthracite, Natural Silver, Pyrite, and Warm Gold.

Google appears to be focusing on incremental improvements rather than a complete redesign. The RAM boost alone should enhance app performance, background health tracking, and AI features.
