Xiaomi has unveiled the Mijia Purifying Humidifier 3 Pro, a dual-purpose appliance that combines air filtration and humidification.
The device is now available on Xiaomi's Youpin crowdfunding platform starting July 22nd, priced at 1,699 yuan ($250).

Humidification Performance
The humidifier delivers 2,000mL of moisture per hour.
According to Xiaomi, this rate can raise the humidity of a standard bedroom in seven minutes and a larger living room in about 19 minutes.
It features an 8-liter water tank that provides up to 16 hours of continuous use in sleep mode.
A one-way spray water circulation system prevents used water from flowing back into the main tank, limiting bacterial growth and water discoloration.

The system also includes electrolyzed water sterilization and a washable antibacterial filter to maintain hygiene.
Purification Capabilities
On the purification side, the unit uses a six-layer composite filter with a particulate matter CADR of 422m³/h and a formaldehyde CADR of 247m³/h.
The filtration layers target large debris, PM1 and PM2.5 particles, formaldehyde, and common allergens.
The humidification and purification functions can operate independently, allowing the device to be used as an air purifier alone when humidity levels are adequate.

Smart Features and Design
The top of the unit has an LCD dome display with adaptive brightness, showing real-time temperature, humidity, dust concentration, and PM levels.
It connects to the Mijia app for remote control and data tracking, and supports voice commands via XiaoAI.
Users can set target humidity levels for automatic maintenance. The humidifier supports top-fill water refilling and has a removable tank with a carrying handle.
Built-in 360-degree caster wheels make it easy to move between rooms.

A DC brushless inverter motor and optimized airflow channels keep noise down to 28.1dB(A) in sleep mode.
