Xiaomi and its sub-brand Redmi are gearing up to introduce new smartphones in India next month.
While the Xiaomi 17T is confirmed for a June 1 launch, the Redmi Turbo 5's official debut date remains unconfirmed.

However, a new report from SmartPrix suggests the Redmi Turbo 5 could arrive on June 18, alongside another device called the Redmi 17.
Redmi 17 5G Leaked Specifications
According to the report, the Redmi 17 will feature an LCD panel with a high refresh rate.
It is unclear if the device will use the same 6.9-inch FHD+ screen with a 144Hz refresh rate found on the Redmi 15.

Under the hood, the Redmi 17 is said to pack a Snapdragon 4-series chipset.
The exact processor is not named, but it could be the recently launched Snapdragon 4 Gen 4.
The phone is expected to run HyperOS based on Android 16 out of the box.

For photography, it may sport a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
A massive 7,000mAh+ battery is also tipped, though fast charging details remain unknown.
The Redmi Turbo 5, which launched earlier in China, is expected to be a rebranded Poco X8 Pro.

Its rumored specs include a 6.58-inch 1.5K 120Hz display, Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset, 7,560mAh battery with 100W charging, 50MP + 8MP dual rear cameras, and a 20MP front camera.
