Chase McWhorter, the ex-husband of "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" star Miranda Hope, has reached a plea deal in his DUI case that will keep him out of jail.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, McWhorter pleaded guilty to one count of misdemeanor DUI.

In exchange, prosecutors agreed to drop other charges and recommend probation, community service, and a substance abuse evaluation.
The judge approved the agreement.

McWhorter must pay a $1,383 fine, complete 48 hours of community service, and serve one year of probation.
The plea deal comes about a year after his arrest.
He was originally taken into custody during the Fourth of July weekend last year on charges of DUI and possession of a controlled substance, as reported by The U.

Utah police said they stopped McWhorter after observing his vehicle drift out of its lane multiple times.

Officers noted he smelled of alcohol, had bloodshot eyes, and spoke with slurred speech.
