Casio has expanded its G-Steel lineup in the United States with two new all-black models: the GST-B1000BD-1A and GST-B1000BD-2A.

Slimmer Design Without Compromising Durability
G-Shock watches are known for their robust build, but Casio has reduced the thickness of these models to 11.6mm.
The case dimensions measure 46.9 x 44.2 x 11.6 mm, and the watch weighs 118 grams.
This slimmer profile is achieved through a more compact internal module and adhesive glass bonding. The shock-resistant construction remains intact.
The watches feature a minimalist monochromatic look with black ion plating on the stainless steel band, case back, side buttons, crown, and screws.

The bezel is logo-less and combines brushed and polished metal finishes.
The case uses a mix of stainless steel and bio-based carbon, employing Casio's Carbon Core Guard structure for impact protection.
Smart Features and Solar Charging
Both models include Casio's Tough Solar charging system.

A single charge can power the watch for up to five months with normal use, or up to 18 months in power-saving mode in total darkness.
Bluetooth connectivity allows pairing with the Casio Watches smartphone app for automatic time adjustments, a phone finder, and easy access to settings.
The watches offer 200 meters of water resistance, a screw-lock crown, and a mineral glass display.
A white LED Super Illuminator with afterglow and Neobrite coating on the hands aid low-light visibility. Features include a 30-minute stopwatch, countdown timer, daily alarm, and full auto-calendar.
