William Pratt, the father of reality star Spencer Pratt, took matters into his own hands when he spotted a house fire in Pacific Palisades.
He tried to put out the flames with a garden hose before firefighters arrived.

The incident occurred Friday at a two-story, single-family home under construction.

William was driving to his property when he saw the fire and rushed over to help, according to NBC Los Angeles.
He called 911 and began fighting the fire with a hose. Firefighters arrived six minutes after the call and took another 20 minutes to fully extinguish the blaze.

William and Spencer both lost their homes in the devastating January 2025 Palisades Fire. William told NBC LA the situation gave him "a little PTSD."

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No injuries were reported.
