The San Antonio Spurs are reportedly looking for a new play-by-play announcer after Jacob Tobey lost his job amid a cheating scandal involving a player's sister.

The allegations surfaced earlier this week when Tobey's now-ex-girlfriend allegedly accessed his Instagram account and posted a series of messages.

One post read, "This is my girlfriend of six years. But I cheated on her with [redacted]."

It continued, "So feel free to continue following me if you really thin I'm a good guy because I'm not.

A follow-up post showed Tobey kissing the alleged mistress with the caption, "Me and the new girl."

The posts were deleted within hours, but screenshots quickly spread online. Fans soon connected the other woman to a player on the Spurs roster.

Tobey had been calling games for the Western Conference champions since 2024. According to Front Office Sports, his tenure is now over as a result of the scandal.

TMZ has reached out to the Spurs and Tobey's representatives for comment.
