Oppo is set to launch the Reno 16 series on May 25 in China. The lineup includes the Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro.
Both phones have appeared on Oppo's online store for pre-orders, revealing their official images, color options, and storage variants.

Color options and configurations
The Oppo Reno 16 comes in three colors: Heartbeat Star (white), Galaxy Purple, and Midnight Black.
It is available in multiple configurations: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB.
The Reno 16 Pro also offers three color choices: Heartbeat Star (white), Dream Blue, and Midnight Black.
Its storage options are fewer: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB.
Expected specifications
Leaks indicate the Reno 16 series may feature two flat-screen designs.
The standard Reno 16 is rumored to have a compact 6.32-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution.

The Reno 16 Pro might sport a larger 6.78-inch OLED screen with the same resolution and LTPO technology for adaptive refresh rates.
Both devices are expected to come with metal frames and various color finishes.
Under the hood, the Reno 16 Pro is said to debut with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset and a 7,000mAh battery.
The vanilla Reno 16 could run on the Dimensity 8550 with a 6,700mAh battery.
Fast charging support is expected to be 80W wired for both models. The Pro variant may also include 50W wireless charging.
In terms of cameras, the Reno 16 series is tipped to feature a triple rear camera setup led by a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 main sensor.

It could also include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.
Additional products at the event
The May 25 launch event will also introduce the Oppo Bubble accessory for the Reno 16 series, the Oppo Pad 6 tablet, and Enco Air 5s TWS earbuds.
Oppo will also announce a new color variant for the Oppo Pad Air 5.
Both phones are now listed for pre-orders on the Oppo Shop online, with the official images confirming the design and color options ahead of the launch.
The Reno 16 Pro is expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, while the standard Reno 16 may use a Dimensity 8550 processor.
Battery capacities are rumored at 7,000mAh for the Pro and 6,700mAh for the standard model, both supporting 80W wired charging, with the Pro adding 50W wireless charging.
