Energy efficiency and performance
The unit boasts an Annual Performance Factor (APF) of 5.36, earning China's top Level 1 energy efficiency rating.
Xiaomi claims it can save roughly 208 kWh of electricity per year compared to older models, translating to around 124 yuan ($18) in annual savings.
Under the hood, it uses a 9.8cc compressor, a dual-row evaporator, and a 108mm cross-flow fan.

The airflow reaches up to 760 cubic meters per hour, and the company says it can cool a standard room to the target temperature in about three minutes.
Smart features and connectivity
The AC runs on Xiaomi's Mijia Lingyun control engine, which uses cloud-based learning to adjust cooling and heating based on user habits.
For example, it can automatically tweak the temperature during sleep to save power while maintaining comfort.
It connects to the Mijia app and supports HyperOS Connect for integration with other smart home devices.

The unit also supports over-the-air (OTA) updates, allowing Xiaomi to refine energy-saving algorithms and add features over time.
A built-in diagnostic system performs 122 checks and sends app notifications if the filter needs cleaning or refrigerant is low, before the unit stops working.
Maintenance and durability
For upkeep, the AC has a self-cleaning function that washes and dries internal components at 58 degrees Celsius to prevent mold and bacteria.
