Former NFL star and longtime sportscaster Marcellus Wiley was arrested in Florida over the holiday weekend, according to jail records obtained by TMZ Sports.

Wiley, 51, was booked into the Orange County Jail on July 4 on a charge of domestic battery.

He is being held without bond, custody records show.

Details surrounding the alleged incident and the identity of the involved party were not immediately available.

Wiley played nearly 10 seasons in the NFL after being drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the second round of the 1997 NFL Draft.

The defensive end also played for the San Diego Chargers, Dallas Cowboys, and Jacksonville Jaguars.

He earned a Pro Bowl selection in 2001 after recording a career-high 13 sacks with the Chargers.

After retiring from football, Wiley transitioned to broadcasting, co-hosting debate shows at ESPN and Fox Sports.
