Timex has announced the Waterbury Heritage America 250, a new timepiece commemorating the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States.

The watch draws inspiration from 1970s motorsport chronographs.

Priced at $319, it features a meca-quartz movement, blending quartz accuracy with a mechanical stopwatch module.

This hybrid system delivers a smooth sweeping seconds hand and tactile pusher action.

Design and Build

The stainless steel case measures 39mm in diameter and 13.5mm thick, offering a versatile fit for wrists from 5.9 to 8.1 inches.

The black dial sports a classic panda layout with white subdials and red accents.

A blue tachymeter bezel and mismatched red and blue pushers add a sporty touch. The only anniversary nod is a small “250” printed on the lower dial.

The watch is powered by an SR936SW battery and protected by a domed mineral crystal.

It comes on a 20mm black perforated leather strap with quick-release spring bars for easy band changes.

Water resistance is rated at 50 meters, suitable for light swimming but not diving. Luminescent hands ensure readability in low light.
