Kate Gosselin has made it clear she will not take a lie detector test to address her son Collin's abuse allegations.
In a TikTok response to fans urging her to prove her innocence, she explained that a polygraph is not in her plans.

She also ruled out suing Collin for defamation, stating that legal action would be ineffective because of her celebrity status.
Collin recently appeared on freelance reporter Strange McKnights' YouTube channel, where he made disturbing claims.

He alleged that Kate once used zip ties on his wrists and ankles and locked him in a basement.
He then challenged her to take a lie detector test to verify his accusations.

The allegations come as Collin prepares to release his memoir, "In the Shadow of Eight, Surviving the Reality of My Childhood," in which he promises to detail the alleged abuse.
On Tuesday morning, Collin shared a note on his Instagram Story, writing, "Never forget the fact that my mom would write in her diary how she 'had to pray to God to stop hitting me' (This was while I was 2 years old by the way)."

Collin has made it clear he is ready to speak openly about his childhood experiences.
