Red Magic has confirmed that its latest flagship tablet, the Gaming Tablet 5 Pro, will be released globally under the name Red Magic Astra 2.
The device is set to debut in China on June 30, with international availability expected shortly after.

The tablet is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Red Magic claims it can deliver full frame rates in over 100 major games.
A key highlight is the 9.06-inch BOE X10 OLED display. It features a 185Hz refresh rate, 2.4K resolution, and 1600 nits of peak brightness.
A Synaptics S3930 touch chip ensures precise and responsive controls.

For sustained performance during long gaming sessions, the tablet includes an advanced cooling system with liquid cooling and a piezoelectric micro-pump.
The liquid cooling loop also incorporates RGB lighting effects.
Other features include dual USB-C ports with 80W fast charging, reverse charging, and the ability to charge while using headphones.

A new Steam direct connection mode simplifies PC emulator integration.
The Astra 2 is positioned to compete with tablets like Lenovo's Legion series, combining raw gaming power, innovative cooling, and AI features while remaining practical for everyday use.
Official pricing and complete global specifications have not yet been announced.
