Nothing has begun rolling out a fresh software update for its smartphone lineup. The update introduces depth-effect support for the lock screen, along with several other improvements.
The package includes the June 2026 security patch, which addresses multiple vulnerabilities.

However, the Nothing Phone (1) is excluded as it has reached the end of its update lifecycle.

- Nothing CMF Phone 2 Pro: OS B4.1-260615-1653
- Nothing CMF Phone 1: OS B4.1-260615-1652
Other models like the Nothing Phone (4a), Phone (4a) Pro, and Phone (2) should receive the update in the coming days.
The rollout is happening in batches, so it may take a while to reach all users.

To check for the update, go to Settings > System > System updates.
New Features and Improvements
The depth effect now works on the lock screen, allowing users to adjust clock face sizes and alignment.
It also supports Atmosphere wallpapers.

The status bar has been updated to show a dedicated Nothing headphones icon when headphones are connected.
Under the hood, the update improves launcher animations and overall system stability.
A security reminder for the face unlock method has also been added. The June 2026 security patch fixes dozens of vulnerabilities.

Nothing is already working on a major Android 17-based update expected later this year. A list of eligible devices for that update has been published.
