CHUWI has opened pre-orders for its UniBook AI Laptop, a Windows notebook built on Intel's latest Wildcat Lake platform.
Priced at $449 during the early bird period, the device targets students, professionals, and everyday users seeking on-device AI capabilities without a premium cost.

The regular retail price is $499, but customers can save $50 through the launch campaign, part of CHUWI's "AI for Everyone, The Tournament for All" World Cup promotion.
Discounts of up to $50 are also available on other products like the CoreBook Air 226V and Hi10 Max tablet.
Intel Core 3 and AI Hardware
The laptop is powered by Intel's Core 3 Processor 304, built on the 18A process technology.
It includes Intel Graphics for visual performance and a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that delivers up to 15 TOPS (Int8) for AI workloads.
The integrated GPU provides up to 9 TOPS (Int8) of AI performance.

Local AI processing enables features like AI writing assistance, real-time transcription, AI image generation, and AI-enhanced multitasking.
CHUWI says this approach improves response times and keeps personal data on the device.

The UniBook AI features a 14-inch IPS display with WUXGA resolution (1920 × 1200) and a 16:10 aspect ratio, offering more vertical workspace than standard Full HD screens.
It covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut, has 300 nits brightness, and an 88% screen-to-body ratio.
The laptop weighs approximately 1.2kg and measures 314.5 × 221 × 16.4mm. Its metal chassis and 180-degree lay-flat hinge make it suitable for travel and sharing content.

A backlit keyboard, precision touchpad, and HD webcam with a physical privacy shutter are included.
Memory, Storage, and Battery
The system comes with 8GB of LPDDR5 memory at 6400 MT/s and a 256GB PCIe 3.0 SSD, which is expandable.
A 53.38Wh battery provides up to 13 hours of local 1080p video playback, and 65W USB-C Power Delivery charging is supported.
Connectivity and Ports
The UniBook AI offers extensive built-in ports: two full-featured USB-C, three USB-A (two at 5Gbps), HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, a TF card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The laptop can drive up to two external 4K displays at 60Hz.
