Marlon Humphrey of the Baltimore Ravens and Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers maybe two of the most, unlike persons on the globe. The NFL’s top defender enjoys opining on topics other than football. NBA superstar Leonard, though, is bashful and only discusses basketball when specifically asked to.
And it appears that they purchase cars in the same manner. Until 2016, when he was playing for the San Antonio Spurs and had a contract worth close to $100 million, the two-time NBA champion drove a 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe.
When queried about it, the Klaw had a straightforward response: “It runs, and it’s paid off.” That pretty well captures his practical nature. Humphrey felt it was very stupid, though.

Marlon Humphrey Thinks It S Dumb that Kawhi Leonard Drove a $15000 Car
The $11 million Ravens defense, who has been selected to three Pro Bowls in the six years since his draft, could have a long career ahead of him. But does it justify calling an $80 million man who is among the NBA’s Top 75 Players of All-Time dumb? Marlon certainly concurs.
Nothing humble about this. This is actually just dumb lol https://t.co/TktMLQJIV7

Leonard does own a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, and Porsche, and resides in a LA mansion that is worth a few million more than Humphrey if that appeases the chatty Ravens CB.
Chevy Could Have Had Some Sentiments Attached to It for Leonard
For someone, it might have only been a $15,000 automobile, but Kawhi used it to get from his college days to his status as a national superstar. Thus, it must have some sort of sentiment.
The five-time All-Star might not even want to share it with this horrible world that includes individuals like Humphries. Perhaps it contained recollections of his family for him.
That car might have been a present from him had he known that his father had been murdered in front of his family’s car wash. Whatever the Football great had to complain about, his delivery could not have been more idiotic.
