Lewis Hamilton is one of the most well-known athletes of all time, so it’s hardly surprising that Hollywood wants him. The seven-time world champion is friendly with many notable people in the business, including Tom Cruise, who frequently joins him and Mercedes at F1 events.
The most recent time we saw Cruise was at the 2022 British GP, where Hamilton put up an amazing performance and nearly won the race. Hamilton’s performance on the F1 circuit was all that fans on the track and watching at home hoped to see for years to come.

Lewis Hamilton wants to star in the Top Gun sequel
Originally, Cruise and Hamilton were to co-star in Top Gun: Maverick. The British man fell in love with the first Top Gun movie when he was a little boy. He wanted to drop everything and be a part of the movie in some way as soon as he learned that a sequel was being released.
The cruise was asked to join the cast by Hamilton, who is acquainted with him, and the latter gave him the part of a fighter pilot. Hamilton was thrilled about the chance, but he was unable to participate in the filming since he needed to do his duties as an F1 driver.

Hamilton Hoping for A Bounceback 2023 Season
The year 2022 may have been the most challenging of Hamilton’s Formula One career. He failed to win a single race during his whole campaign for the first time ever, and for the majority of the first half of the season, colleague George Russell outperformed him. In the overall standings, he came in two positions behind him.
To win his eighth world championship and pass Michael Schumacher on the list of drivers with the most world titles, the 38-year-old will be hoping for a much better season in 2023 with a faster car.
