Tuesday at the McDonald’s All-American in Houston’s Toyota Center, Bronny James took the stage alongside high school standouts Justin Edwards, D.J. Wagner, Isaiah Collier, Matas Buzelis, and Jared McCain.
The only athlete in the 2023 All-Star game for high school athletes who haven’t already committed to a college is LeBron James’ oldest child.
The 6ft 2 guard may or may not have won over his collegiate coaches and fellow teammates, but it appears that he has won over a 71-year-old analyst who even his father has been unable to influence in 20 years.
Skip Bayless Praises Bronny James But Not without Belittling LeBron James
Every day, Skip Bayless tweets about LeBron James. Even on the big McDonald’s All-American night, when his son was likely having the biggest night of his career, it persisted.
Uncle Skip attacked his father while praising the 18-year-shooting old’s abilities as he was having a great game.
With his long-range shooting in the McDonald’s Game, Bronny is killing it. Clearly a more honest and proficient shooter than his father [LeBron James], Bayless sent a tweet.
bronny is better than lebron when he was his age its crazy

NBA fans shouldn’t be shocked by that. That man has built a living doing just that. But several fans were echoing the Fox Sports analyst.

Bronny S Career Ahead the Top 2024 Prospect
Bronny would be one of the most sought-after players in the 2024 draft after excelling in the McDonald’s All-American game and enrolling at the institution of his choice afterward.
Given how underappreciated his abilities are despite all the surrounding buzz, he would never be able to enjoy college for more than a year.
Every lottery team will target the Sierra Canyon guard given the way he is performing and the assurance that LeBron Raymone James will sign with them. It would be fascinating to observe where he settles and how, at just 19 years old, he interacts with his then-39-year-old grandfather.
