In addition to making up stories, it appears that he is now portraying himself as something other than the titular hero. The King may have returned sooner than anticipated, which increased the commotion in the media about him. Naturally, everyone was curious as to how he accomplished it.
James began by stating that two doctors had urged him to have surgery in order to recover. The reason? His right foot’s damaged tendon. But we’re talking about LeBron James here, who has been among the world’s fittest athletes for the past 20 years. The last thing on his mind is making a move like that. He generally has our trust. It is encouraging to see him back, even though his comeback may not have had the anticipated outcome. If the Lakers want to have any chance of winning this year’s playoff series, they need him.

Even merely his comeback raised the Lakers’ chances of winning the Western Conference to sixth best. That may be a slight exaggeration, in our opinion. But hey, we’re talking about LeBron James here.

James finished with 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists. This may have been one of those tester games where the team looks to figure out the chemistry. Yet it seemed like the timing was off. The Lakers are vying for a crucial playoff place and may perhaps skip the play-in entirely.
