The legacy of Kobe Bryant is extraordinary. An NBA legend and a pioneer in the film industry will be visible to us in the past. He was one of the pioneers in bringing basketball into the limelight of Hollywood. In 2017, he won an Oscar, and it was finally recognized in Hollywood.
Kobe’s handprints and footprints were recently inscribed at a ceremony held at the Chinese Theatre. The first athlete to receive this recognition is he. He was supposed to take the award, however, due to his absence, Natalia Diamante Bryant was called.

Being his daughter is one of the biggest joys of my life, and I hope to keep emulating and valuing the numerous things he has taught me, Bryant continued.

Natalia, a USC student majoring in cinema, talked about her father’s influence and how she grew up watching cult favorites like Star Wars, The Goonies, and Harry Potter. She said He is the reason I m pursuing cinema in college. And it is because of him that the movie has motivated me to make experiences like ours and encouraged others to bring more fathers and daughters together like us.
She mentioned how her father was the first athlete to receive an Oscar.
My dad, Kobe Bryant, is the first athlete to have their hand and footprints exhibited here, which is only fitting. This day serves as a reminder of his influence on the city he cared for and loved so much. As I’ve aged, I’ve continued to notice his influence on people around him and the inspiration he provided to so many. You’re a legend, an icon, a storyteller, and most importantly, the ideal girl dad that any little girl could hope for.

There aren’t many stories that can win you an Oscar, especially if they involve sports. Yet it was Kobe’s film that succeeded. The film Dear Basketball served as the destination of a unique adventure.
That was a movie that demonstrated how much Bryant loved that sport and was taken directly from his own poem. It was everything to Bryant.
However, he claimed that after winning his five NBA championships, he felt less ecstatic than when he won the Oscar. His girls are proud of him because of his commitment to life and his work as a girl dad.
Only Natalia’s moving words serve as evidence of that feeling. While the entire globe and we miss Bryant, we hope that his legacy is still upheld. There aren’t many athletes who have a lasting impact on society. And Kobe Bryant is the most so.
