This season, the Golden State Warriors have performed poorly. The Dubs have been kept on the edge of the bracket for eligibility thanks in part to Stephen Curry’s ailments as well as some worrying problems with their team composition. They are now ranked ninth in the West, hungry for victories but unable to cut down on their defeats.
But despite all of these gaps in their defenses, Klay Thompson is still optimistic about his team. Even the most recent transactions, which sent players like Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant to the West, did not make Klay lose faith in himself.

Thompson recently spoke at a news conference about the effects of the Western world’s transformation. The conference is currently more competitive than ever, according to Klay. But he also made an effort to persuade the public and supporters that the Warriors are still in the running.

Additionally, he acknowledged that the club must find a way to survive until Stephen Curry’s return. Finally, he declared that the Warriors are still capable of repeating their championship run as he concluded the conversation.
Thompson: “The West is stacked, but at the end of the day you gotta go through who you gotta go through to win the whole thing, and whether that’s in the finals or in the first round, there’s incredible talents. So, there’s really no rounds off. There’s no gimmes. And for us, we know what it takes. We gotta hold the fort down until Steph gets back and just gotta get whole again but I know this break is gonna be very beneficial towards us and I still love our chances of repeat and I am never gonna lose confidence in this team.”

The Warriors Need to Find Their Rhythm Back
Aside from Klay Thompson’s encouragement and belief in the Dubs, the Warriors have not appeared to be a group capable of capturing a second championship. Last year, the Warriors’ campaign was unquestionable and their domination irresistible, but neither of those traits has been present this year.
The problem is that Steve Kerr’s team has zero cohesiveness. Players must cut down on turnovers, tighten up defensively as a unit, and stop attempting risky shots. The season still has a chance of being saved if the Warriors can quickly regain their intelligence. Kerr’s intention to play small ball will only succeed if the team plays as a unit and stops giving in to the rhythm of the opposition.
