Unquestionably, Jamal Crawford is one of the best dribblers the NBA has ever seen. Kyrie Irving responded that his handles matched up with his footwork when asked what made him such a skilled ball handler. Crawford was the only other man, save Irving, whose philosophy was to do just that.

In November 2008, Jamal Crawford was traded to the Golden State Warriors, where he spent just one season. Yet during that year, he would make quite an impression, developing relationships with a number of teammates in the locker room, including Stephen Jackson.
Jackson would discuss the Warriors’ game against the Boston Celtics during an interview. Ray Allen was put on the floor early in the first quarter of this game after Jamal crossed over him on the left wing.
Crawford would go on to later describe this move, saying, What was strange about it was that he fell but then he laid down, put his hands out like he was Jesus for real. He simply took a brief nap. Wait up fellow, that’s Jesus, I exclaimed.

It goes without saying that this was a play on Ray Allen’s portrayal of Jesus Shuttlesworth in the film He Got Game. Allen would co-star in the now-classic basketball movie with Denzel Washington.
