Ja, however, hopes to alter that narrative tonight. The dynamic guard is ensuring that the #2 seed advances at least as far as round one.
So far in the game, Morant has 25 points, 6 rebounds, a steal, and an assist. Both offensively and defensively, he has been outstanding. He just made a charge against Jarred Vanderbilt, as we observed.

Everyone is aware of Ja Morant’s explosiveness as a player. Even though he is suffering from a knee injury, that does t stop him from going full speed against the best of the best. Ja attempted to jump over LeBron for a shot in the previous game. He failed and was assessed a charge.

Tonight he corrected his mistake and made sure he got enough elevation over the King. Tyus Jones gave the alley-oop pass, and Ja rose over Bron to tip the ball in the basket.

Not only did Ja score over the 6ft 9 LeBron James, but he also did the same to his 6ft 10 teammate Anthony Davis. After Desmond Bane missed a three, Ja got one of his two offensive rebounds and rose over AD for the putback dunk.

Exceptionally impressive. It will never cease to amaze me how a 6ft 2 guard has a bounce like that.
