The general public’s ability to purchase tickets for the second Test match between India and Australia in Delhi began yesterday. The Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) took a proactive step by starting the ticket sales more than two weeks before the match, which was set to start on February 17.
After more than five years, Delhi, which last year hosted South Africa in both white-ball formats, will host a Test match. Fans should be motivated to swarm the Arun Jaitley Stadium for the five days simply because the nation’s capital hasn’t hosted a Test match in all these years.
The fact that all of the tickets are season passes deserves to be mentioned. Fans will therefore be able to enter the stadium as much as they like over the course of the five days (but only once each day).
Fans won’t be permitted entry into the stadium without valid tickets during the entire game, as is the norm for all cricket stadiums in the nation. Fans are therefore encouraged not even to attempt to arrive at the event without obtaining them. With that said, DDCA has made plans to deliver the tickets to the address given by a person. 2-3 days before the match, the delivery will be made.
India vs Australia 2nd Test Tickets Arun Jaitley Stadium
The Arun Jaitley Stadium’s first round of ticket sales had seen the DDCA selling tickets for just six stands. All of the tickets for one particular stand have already been sold, despite the fact that each stand was for a different price range.
The fact that there will be many rounds of ticket sales for this game is important. As a result, fans who want to purchase tickets in a certain stand out of the 23 available stands may wait (if they so choose). But it’s usually a good idea to reserve seats for a game involving the Indian cricket team as soon as you can.
Tickets are now only available for purchase online through Paytm Insider.
