It appeared for several months that the Los Angeles Lakers would transfer Victor Wembanyama to the New Orleans Pelicans. And tonight, they illustrated exactly why that is not happening. The Lakers were expected to decline without LeBron James, but they have been coming out on top and have been swinging from their corner.
The purple and gold put on a display tonight against the Pelicans (without Zion Williamson). After a two-game slump, Anthony Davis was back to his swashbuckling best. The 2020 winner finished with a total of 35 points and 17 rebounds. Malik Beasley additionally demonstrated why the Lakers put their trust in him.
He made 7 triples from beyond the arc, leading the team in 3-point shooting for the evening. Dennis Schroeder was expected to have an exceptionally quiet night, so the other players came up to support him, and the Lakers easily defeated their eighth-place contenders.
Skip Bayless considered the victory to be simple and is now patiently waiting for one player to complete his recovery and don the uniform once more.

Skip Bayless Has Been Batting for The Lakers the Past Month Maybe He S Turned for Good
Skip, a steadfast opponent of Los Angeles has been the Lakers’ (shocking!) voice of reason ever since the trade deadline. He has been supporting the Lakers and encouraging them to win. In a fan-like manner, not in a mocking way.
Because he thinks LeBron James is missing out, he wants LBJ to return and join in the fun. And for the right reasons—the new-look Lakers were unbeaten up until his injury versus Dallas. Immediately after that, they only lost their first game, but they’ve been winning. Is he still against LeBron James? No, he prefers to be a fan!
If they defeat the Rockets in their upcoming game, they will move into the top eight, but AD’s absence puts that in doubt. Will the opposing players contribute? We’ll see. They have a .500 record on the line and everything to play for at the moment.

Until Rob Pelinka pulled off a masterful move at the deadline, the Los Angeles Lakers appeared to be finished for the year. He rearranged parts to create a team that is capable of competing. Moreover, it has contributed to better dressing room chemistry.
The wins are rolling in, so whatever happened between Anthony Davis and LeBron James appears to be nicely concealed. They may have stumbled a bit, but that was to be expected. Nobody anticipated them to be flawless, let alone this excellent.
Jarred Vanderbilt and his long arms are working, and D Angelo Russell is playing like he hasn’t missed a game. Anthony Davis has rediscovered his November form and has been given the freedom to play his offensive role to the fullest.
It won’t be long before he recovers with significantly stronger abilities thanks to the King’s Dragon Ball Z Medical Machine. How long will that prevent him from twisting his ankle again or from experiencing adductor pain? We’ll see. Although they are not yet prepared to compete for a title, the Lakers are currently moving in the right path.
