After scoring the game-winning goal on his debut for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, Cristiano Ronaldo addressed the crowd to express his gratitude.
Early in January, Cristiano Ronaldo signed a record-breaking two-and-a-half-year contract with Al Nassr. On Sunday, the Portuguese superstar made his debut for his new club, Ettifaq, in a game in which he is projected to earn $200 million over the course of his contract (22 January). The league’s top team defeated Ettifaq, 1-0, thanks to a goal by Anderson Talisca.
An enthusiastic Mrsool Park crowd supported Cristiano Ronaldo from the opening whistle until the final horn. The former Manchester United star made sure to express his gratitude to his faithful supporters after the game.

Last week, Ronaldo scored twice in a friendly loss to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and had a solid game for the Riyadh All-Stars XI, which lost 5-4. The new star for Al Nassr got two opportunities going, put one on goal, dribbled successfully once, made three recoveries, and had an 89% success rate with his 24 pass attempts.
Upon hearing that Cristiano Ronaldo had been replaced, Manchester United became the target of a troll attack from Piers Morgan. When Arsenal plays, Wout Weghorst has trouble.

On Sunday, January 22nd, Manchester United lost a heartbreaking 3-2 matchup to league-leading Arsenal. Edward Nketiah, the game’s undisputed hero, scored two goals—including the game-winning goal in the final minute—to lead Arsenal to a hard-fought victory over Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal’s other scorer was Bukayo Saka, and United’s tally was made up of goals from Marcus Rashford and Lisandro Martinez.

Manchester United started their new loan player, Wout Weghorst, as a center forward on Sunday. The Gunners made it hard for the Dutchman to get going, and by the end of the game, he had zero shots on goal. The Arsenal fan and close friend of Ronaldo, Piers Morgan, made fun of the Red Devils for trying to replace the five-time Ballon d’Or winner with Weghorst.

Congratulations, Manchester United! You’ve just learned what happens when you appoint a haughty coach who insults Cristiano Ronaldo to the point that he quits, and then replaces him with someone I’ve never heard of who sounds like an Austrian sausage.
Weghorst struggled the entire game, losing 11 of 15 duels, picking up 2 fouls, misplacing 2 long balls, and failing to complete his single dribble attempt.
