As one of the most prominent performers in Hollywood, Dwayne Johnson has made a name for himself. Johnson is a bankable name in the movie business thanks to his roles in blockbuster movies. Johnson’s inclusion in the Fast & Furious series was one of his biggest breaks in the entertainment industry.
Luke Hobbs was portrayed by the former WWE superstar-turned-Hollywood megastar in all four of the movies. However, Dwayne’s conflict with the franchise’s star, Vin Diesel, resulted in the latter’s departure. Diesel tried to reconcile with Johnson, but the latter never came back.

In the Instagram post, Diesel referred to The Rock as his little brother and said that his children miss him. To DJ’s chagrin, Vin Diesel even made a reference to Paul Walker. But Johnson gave Diesel the side eye. Johnson actually thought Diesel was manipulating things.
Dwayne Johnson Says Vin Diesel S Public Post Was an Example of His Manipulation
Dwayne Johnson discussed the possibility of returning to the Fast & Furious franchise in an interview with CNN. Johnson claims that he had stated his unwillingness to go back to VD right away. The many WWE Champions asserted that he and Diesel have reached a mutual understanding.
Dwayne Johnson says Vin Diesel’s post asking him to return to ‘Fast & Furious’ was manipulative.
“I told him directly that I wouldn’t be returning. Vin’s public post was an example of his manipulation. I didn’t like that he brought up his children, as well as Paul Walker.” (CNN) pic.twitter.com/NW8fRIIlPo

Johnson did not like that Vin Diesel went so far as to include his children and Paul Walker in an effort to sway Johnson. Vin Diesel’s social media post was used as an example of his manipulation by the man.
I told [Diesel] directly that I would not be returning to the franchise. I was firm yet cordial with my words and said that I would always be supportive of the cast and always root for the franchise to be successful, but that there was no chance I would return.
Vin s recent public post was an example of his manipulation. I didn t like that he brought up his children in the post, as well as Paul Walker s death. Leave them out of it. We had spoken months ago about this and came to a clear understanding.

Today, with Dwayne Johnson reportedly agreeing to rejoin the franchise, the two have apparently resolved their problems. Dwayne Johnson will reportedly appear in the third and final act of the movie.
Dwayne Johnson made an eye-popping $20 million from Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw
Dwayne Johnson starred in the Hobbs & Shaw F&F spinoff in 2019. Other bankable stars in the movie included Jason Statham and Idris Elba. The movie was a success, earning $760 million globally. It’s interesting to note that Dwayne Johnson made almost as much money as Statham and Idris Elba put together.
In (Fast & Furious Presents) Hobbs & Shaw, Jason Statham (52) and Vanessa Kirby (31) play siblings who were very close as kids. That is all.

Statham and Elba earned $13 million and $8 million, respectively, while Dwayne Johnson earned $20 million. This just serves to highlight Luke Hobbs’ importance in the Fast and Furious movie franchise.
