The Washington Commanders may soon have new owners, which was once deemed inconceivable. Dan Snyder, the present owner, appears to be accepting the inevitable despite the fact that there have been no new bids or indications from any potential new buyers. This is perhaps why he came to the decision that he had to start practicing making space for the new owners.
The Commanders have been owned by Dan Snyder and his wife Tanya Snyder for the past 24 years. Following several reports and inquiries into the team for a number of reasons, they have made the decision to list the team for sale. The NFL owners almost appeared to be going to kick the Snyders out of the league. Not everyone accepted the couple’s news, even at the time. Maybe up till now.
Dan Snyder Reportedly Cleaned out His Office in The Team S Facility
According to numerous rumors, Dan Snyder and his wife have left their offices in the team’s building. It appears that they began leaving as early as December. ProFootballNetwork has learned from insider sources that a sale may be on the horizon and may be finalized and disclosed prior to the NFL Owner meetings in Arizona.
Josh Harris and the Harris group, as well as Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, are potential buyers. According to rumors, Snyder despises Bezos, but his wealth would be a fantastic way to temper some of that animosity. No reports, however, have yet surfaced indicating who has a greater chance of winning the offer. But, it appears that both of them have capped their offers at $6 billion, which is somewhat less than Snyder’s demand.

Does New Management Mean New Fortunes for The Commanders?
Most Commanders fans will be hoping for that. The Washington squad has endured a contentious reign under Dan Snyder, and it is clear that they need a break from the negative publicity. The team still has some great potential on the field, so a new owner won’t need to spend a ton of cash restructuring the entire organization.
Yet they will need to give the Commanders a fresh coat of paint and portray them in a more favorable light. They’ll need to repair years’ worth of damage done to the Commander’s reputation. Fans of the Commanders should relax knowing that both bids are more than capable of reviving the squad, even though it won’t be an easy process. In particular, if it’s Bezos since he’ll have something to counter-prove against Snyder.
