The largest transfer window in NBA history up until this point was certainly in February. No other deadlines over the past four days have strengthened as many contenders as the Lakers, Mavericks, Suns, and perhaps even the Bucks following some significant transactions on Thursday. The Suns may have become the strongest competitors as a result of the Kevin Durant trade.
And Charles Barkley, their former MVP and Inside the NBA pundit, has gotten back on board with them, ignoring all the disparaging things he has said about the Slim Reaper over the years.

Charles Barkley Is Now with Kevin Durant and His Suns
Many people who have followed the Chuck-KD back-and-forth over the years, ever since Barkley started picking on Durant, not just on Inside the NBA, but in any podcast appearances since the 6 foot 10 forward won back-to-back titles with the Warriors in 2017 and 2018, would find it funny.
The TNT analyst has forgotten all of that since KD moved to Phoenix to link up with Chris Paul, Devin Booker, and Deandre Ayton to form the NBA’s strongest starting lineup, and is only focused on the Sun’s bench.
You’re going to need a strong bench, Barkley remarked on Inside the NBA. The West is currently so strong. Because the West is so stacked, you can’t go to battle with just KD, Booker, and Ayton. Our starting lineup is ready to go, but your bench needs to be enormous if you want to win three series and advance to the Finals.
He seemed to be hysterical and to have forgotten the whole bus driver situation that was behind him. Chuck can perform the cleanest of flips, despite how bulky he may have grown over time.

Nba Twitter Reacts to Chuck Calling the Suns His Team
Sir Charles Barkley is one of the few people in the world who has the right to refer to the Suns as their team. The 1993 MVP should be utilizing pronouns like my or us because he is one of the greatest players in team history.
But they might have used this phrase to his 76ers rather than the Suns. Not that I can think of. Not even when they faced the Bucks in the 2021 Finals. I could be mistaken, but Jamal Crawford and I both find it surprising.

I’m not saying this is the case, but Kevin Durant only wants to play for the Suns because he wants to win a championship to spite Charles Barkley. I’m convinced
