Redmi is expected to launch a new Note 17 series phone with a massive 9,000mAh battery in July, according to a fresh leak.
The tipster suggests the upcoming mid-range device will focus on practicality, featuring a 1.5K flat display, high-volume dual speakers, and enhanced durability with flagship-level water and drop resistance.
The phone is said to be powered by a power-efficient Snapdragon 6-series chipset, possibly the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5.
When that chip was announced in May, Redmi was confirmed as one of the first adopters.
Meanwhile, a rumored 10,000mAh battery phone, believed to be the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, is reportedly planned for a later release in China, possibly in August or September.
Redmi also appears to be working on the Redmi K90 series, with the K90 Ultra expected to launch later this month featuring a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, an 8,500mAh battery with 100W charging, and a built-in air-cooling fan system.
