Foldable smartphones are evolving, with several brands developing wider-format devices for the premium segment.
Oppo is reportedly among them, and new leaks have revealed more about its upcoming wide foldable, tentatively called the Oppo Find N7 Wide.
Design and Display Leaks
Chinese tipster Smart Pikachu claims the Oppo Find N7 Wide will feature display technology aimed at making the crease significantly less visible.
The device may also sport a horizontally arranged camera module on the rear.
The same source indicated that the Oppo Find X10 Ultra is being tested with an ultra-thin bezel design for a more immersive viewing experience.
It is said to feature a circular rear camera module, continuing a familiar design language among premium Chinese flagships.
Expected Launch and Specifications
Earlier this month, tipster Digital Chat Station revealed Oppo is testing a new book-style wide foldable that could debut in the first quarter of 2027.
The prototype reportedly features a 7.6-inch foldable inner display and a 5.5-inch cover screen.
Samsung Display and BOE are believed to be involved in panel development.
The device may be powered by Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset built on a 2nm process.
Oppo is also developing a new-generation hinge mechanism to further minimize the display crease, aligning with Smart Pikachu's latest comments.
