Some Galaxy S26 Ultra users are reporting tiny dot-like marks on their displays after receiving Samsung's recent color calibration fix for the red tint issue.
The original problem was a reddish rectangular patch in the middle of the screen, most visible on white backgrounds at high brightness.
Complaints about the red tint emerged a few months after the March 2026 launch and intensified in July.
Samsung attributed the issue to a software glitch in color optimization, not hardware or burn-in.
The company rolled out an over-the-air update in August 2026, starting in Korea, along with free same-day calibration at service centers.
Now, some owners who applied the fix are noticing small dots on the display.
These are isolated reports, and Samsung has not confirmed a link between the calibration and the new dots.
If the dots persist or multiply, users are advised to visit a service center for a thorough check.
