Honor has officially kicked off the MagicOS 11 closed beta program, giving select users a chance to test new features before the public rollout.
The company has started accepting applications for the first batch, which includes 17 devices in total.
Along with the eligible devices, Honor also shared its rollout timeline for the beta updates.
Eligible Devices for the First Batch
- Smartphones: Honor Magic V6, Magic V5, Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design, Magic 8 Pro, Magic 8 Pro Air, Magic 8, Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design, Magic 7 Pro, Magic 7, Honor WIN, Honor WIN RT, Honor GT Pro, Honor 600 Pro, Honor 600 Super Edition, Honor 600 Vitality Edition
- Tablets: Honor MagicPad 3 Pro, Honor MagicPad 3 Pro 12.2
Smartphone users can apply until August 11, while tablet owners have until August 21. Only 2,000 users per model will be selected, so early submission is recommended.
For smartphones, applications will be reviewed from August 12 to 14, with beta updates rolling out on or before August 18.
Tablets will see reviews from August 24 to 25, and updates will start on or before August 28.
How to Register
To be eligible, Honor recommends updating your device to firmware version 10.0.0.170.
Then, open the “My Honor” app, go to the “Club” section, tap the MagicOS testing opportunity, and submit your application.
Once the beta update is available, you can install it via Settings > System and Updates.
