OnePlus may be preparing to withdraw from the US and European smartphone markets, according to a new report from German publication WinFuture.

The report claims that OnePlus and its parent company Oppo will announce major strategic changes this week, leading to OnePlus exiting both regions while Oppo expands its presence, particularly in Europe.

Signs of a Pullback

Evidence of OnePlus scaling back has already emerged in parts of Europe.

In Germany, the company's online store now only lists the OnePlus 15R as an available model, with the flagship OnePlus 15 and Nord lineup no longer offered.

Similar changes are reportedly being seen in Italy, Spain, France, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.

The rumor follows a turbulent year for OnePlus. In January, speculation about a shutdown spread online before the company publicly denied the claims.

Since then, multiple reports have suggested the brand could still reduce its global ambitions.

One recent rumor indicated that future global OnePlus phones may ship with Oppo's ColorOS instead of the company's own OxygenOS branding.

If confirmed, this would mark one of the biggest shakeups for BBK Electronics' smartphone brands outside China.

OnePlus built its reputation by offering flagship-level hardware at lower prices before expanding into premium smartphones, tablets, wearables, and audio products.

Neither OnePlus nor Oppo has officially confirmed the reported plans. With an announcement potentially scheduled this week, clarity may come soon.
