Oppo is reportedly developing its next foldable smartphone, the Find N7, which is expected to feature a wide foldable design akin to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide and Apple's rumored iPhone Ultra foldable.

Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has shared new details on Weibo, indicating that the device is being tested with a 2nm Snapdragon flagship chipset, likely the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 (SM8950).

The phone may also include an on-device AI accelerator.

According to the leak, the Find N7's battery capacity starts with the digit "6," with an early engineering target of around 6,500mAh.

If accurate, this would surpass the battery sizes of competing foldables from Samsung and Apple.

In the comments, Digital Chat Station mentioned that early prototypes are testing two camera module layouts: a classic large circular camera island and an iPhone Air-like horizontal design.

The source asked followers for their preference.

The Find N7 is reportedly scheduled for a Q1 2027 launch, which would make it the world's first foldable phone with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip.

Previous leaks suggest the device will have a 5.5-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch inner display, with panels supplied by Samsung Display and BOE.

Its advanced hinge mechanism is expected to deliver a crease-free experience.
