Oppo is set to launch its new Android tablet, the Oppo Pad 6, on May 25 in China.

The company has already revealed several hardware details ahead of the event, highlighting a balanced approach rather than focusing solely on raw performance.

Design and Display

The tablet measures just 5.99mm thick and weighs around 577 grams, making it portable for classes, work, or reading.

It will be available in Starlight Blue, Galaxy Silver, and Deep Space Gray.

The Oppo Pad 6 features a 12.1-inch 3K LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate.

A "Soft Light" screen design aims to reduce glare and reflections, which could benefit users who spend long hours reading or studying on the tablet.

Performance and Battery

Under the hood, the Pad 6 is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset.

Oppo claims the tablet can score around 3.06 million points on AnTuTu, though real-world performance may vary.

The device packs a 10,420mAh battery with 67W fast charging, expected to handle a full day of mixed use.

Software and Productivity Features

Oppo emphasizes multitasking and productivity with features like floating windows, PC-style file management, stylus support, cross-device integration, and AI-powered note-taking tools.

The tablet also supports sharing a nearby phone's 5G connection directly, a practical addition for users on the go without constant Wi-Fi access.

The Oppo Pad 6 appears designed for daily use in work, study, streaming, and casual gaming, based on the details revealed so far.
