Ariana Grande's ex-boyfriend Ricky Alvarez made a surprise appearance at her 'Eternal Sunshine' tour concert in Austin, Texas, on Friday night.
The dancer, who previously performed on Grande's 'Honeymoon' tour over a decade ago, was seen enjoying the show from the floor.
Sources confirm the pair are just friends, and Grande invited him and others to celebrate her 33rd birthday.
During the concert, Grande's backup dancers surprised her with a cake on stage.
She also playfully changed the lyrics to her 2019 hit 'thank u, next,' which originally referenced Alvarez.
Instead of singing 'Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh,' she sang '... they still kinda slap' and '...
he still got my back.' Grande's father was even spotted shaking hands with Alvarez during the lyric change.
Grande is currently single after her split from 'Wicked' co-star Ethan Slater, following nearly three years of dating.
